Apple Orchards


The Waterford Historical Society boasts two apple orchards, one known as the Celest J. LeMare Memorial Orchard, and one known as the "New Orchard."  LeMare once tended the orchards at the nearby Harkness estate. These heirloom trees were planted at Jordan Green behind the Beebe-Phillips House. The Town of Waterford maintains and periodically prunes the trees.

  • Winter Banana

  • Cox's Orange Pippin

  • Roxbury Russet
